Hello there, and welcome to the blog of the Te Awamutu Little Theatre! A place where people from all walks and persuasions of life have come together to create rambling conversations, illuminated headboxes, creaking floors (and some live theatre to boot!) Sound appealing? Let us take you on a tour through our illustrious building, and draw you further into our web of slightly altered reality, and lose yourself to our madness!! Mwahahahahaha!...... Er, hem. Right, lets go!
Our theatre:
In a previous life, this was the towns schoolhouse, and the feeling still lingers, as many unusual and rambling conversations, and much unusual acting has taken place within these four walls. We now walk up the slippery ramp of Doom:*

*Levels of doom may vary from day to day, and is subject to avaliability. The Little Theatre takes no responsibility for the amount of Doom found on the ramp, and may, from time to time, remove any Doom from this ramp without prior warning.
As you ascend the ramp, you will walk past the Weed Tree:
This tree was a seedling in the ground not all that long ago, but has now grown enough to make people trip on it, shed leaves everywhere, start to get into the foundations of the building and the ramp, and in general, make a nusciance of itself. Many hours have been spent by the members discussing how we can make the tree sick, or go away, but that's a story for another posting.......
Into the entrance foyer with the misaligned wallpaper:

Into the theatre with the creaking floors, 70s chairs, and dodgy rostra:**

**Levels of tackiness and dodginess may vary from those depicted in the image.
And finally into the uncluttered, spacious, green room:***

***Please note that there is no green in the room as far as we are aware. The walls are covered by so much stuff that we don't know what colour they are. Also note that the space avaliable in the room for actors is inversely proportional to the amount of clutter in the room.
So, there we are. Are you more interested? Curious? Revolted? If so, stay in touch, and read on, for more of the same, yet only different!
